Congratulations Rosey

Today Rosey and I went to Canton SD for TDI testing. TDI stands for Therapy Dogs International and is an organization of dogs and handlers that once certified go into nursing homes, hospitals, schools, assisted living and actually any place that therapy of a dog is needed. The test took about 20 minutes and was general practical skills that would be practiced while you are in the public and doing a visit. She had to know general dog obedience, was able to be examined by a stranger, would not run from loud noises, was able to walk around people using wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, canes etc. We passed with flying colors. Once we get all the paperwork sent in and that includes a signature from the vet we can start our visits.

Congratulations to Dakotas Yellow Prairie Rose, CGC, TDI.

Pictures will follow when she gets her badge and bandanna.
